However, quality control relies heavily on the workers' skill, and these are prone to bumps and dents during use, leading to numerous quality issues. Some projects have used external corner trim strips, but these were relatively simple and made of low-quality materials (usually PVC).

For finishing the external corners of stone materials like marble, due to the workability of the material, projects generally use 45-degree chamfers, or other finishing methods like edging and gluing. Metal strips are rarely used (and unnecessary).

The following are some examples of metal finishing methods for external corners of tiled walls:

The finishing strips for the external corners of ceramic tiles and mosaic walls are of the same form, but differ in size, because the thickness of ceramic tiles and mosaics is different, and the thickness of the adhesive layer on the wall will not be very large.It is generally around 5-8mm and is suitable for the finishing strips on tile walls, but not on mosaic walls.

Metal Finishing Strips for Inside and Outside Corners of Tile Walls and Floors

The inside corners between walls and floors are usually finished with the wall pressed against the floor, avoiding any upward seams. Using metal finishing strips creates a cleaner and more aesthetically pleasing effect.

When finishing the external corners of tiled floors such as stair treads, professional tread tiles are usually used, otherwise the external corners cannot be handled. Customized metal finishing strips can effectively solve the problem of finishing the external corners of treads.

For the finishing method of the second node in the above picture, the metal strip can be processed by folding the stainless steel plate. This style can also be used to finish the outside corners of the wall.
